Emulsion Printhouse developed the PIN program in 2015 as our way to give back. A portion of all proceeds goes towards helping provide quality clothing to People In Need (P.I.N.).
The idea is simple. As an official garment decorator in the US, we have access to tens-of-thousands of pieces of apparel at a discounted wholesale rate. We figure we could use this as an opportunity to create our own program of charity tee shirts and other apparel. The current estimate of homelessness in the US is a staggering 500,000+ people, many of whom don’t have access to quality clothing.
We have partnered with Rosie’s Place in Boston, MA as our first donation location.
“Rosie’s Place was founded in 1974 as the first women’s shelter in the United States. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that helps poor and homeless women maintain their dignity, seek opportunity and find security in their lives. “
Our hope is that as we grow as a small business, our PIN Program can grow with us. In the coming years, our goal is to expand these charity tee shirts as well as our donation family.
